Winter Wedding Packages with Prestige Venues & Events

RBGE Wedding Packages

The Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh is wonderful venue highlighting some of the world’s most prestigious plant life and natural beauty.

Winter wedding packages which start from £6995 between October and March – based on 60 day guests and 40 evening guests.

Within this package the wedding party will receive exclusive access to Calendonian Hall and Pavilion for the wedding ceremony , post ceremony reception with canapes, use of the garden for some stunning winter photographs, a three course set winter menu with coffee and tea, half a bottle of wine per guest, sausage or bacon rolls of an evening and toasting sparkling wine as well.

Of course, wedding planners will also have access to a dedicated wedding coordinator throughout planning, and if need be they will also act as master of ceremonies as well.

Dundas Castle

The fairy tale winter wedding has its spiritual home within a castle – and Dundas castle happens to be one of Scotland’s most beautiful and historic venues.

Winter wedding packages at the castle start from £90 per head and include a fantastic seasonal menu that offers winter warmers made up of cosy dishes with an element of flair on them.

This includes “Cock a Leekie” pan fried chicken, with leek puree, warm brownies with salted caramel, the potential for Haggis croquettes and a selection of bold Chilean wines.

Further, the winter wedding packages at Dundas Castle include all linens, glassware, menu cards and of course access to the venue and ground for your wedding, reception and photography on the day!

Signet Library

Situated in Edinburgh’s Old Town, The Signet Library is a popular choice for winter weddings due to the cosy and friendly atmosphere of Edinburgh across the winter months. The venue is split into two halves to make the most of your entire day.

The Upper Library with its columns, cornices, galleries and balustrades, is the perfect elegant and formal setting for a wedding ceremony, with a wonderful long aisle and space for the service solemnities under the archway. After the ceremony we transform the Lower Library into your reception space where you can relax and mingle with your guests.

The Lower Library is a magnificent setting for your wedding celebration; your guests will enjoy the wedding breakfast in sumptuous surroundings before dancing the night away under the cupola. Architectural features include a cupola painting depicting Apollo and the Muses, accompanied by poets, orators, historians and philosophers, a magnificent stained-glass window celebrating Queen Victoria's Jubilee, classical columns, ornate cornices, and upper galleries with decorative balustrades.

Packages start from £115 per person with exclusive hire of the entire venue from 1pm to midnight, three course wedding breakfast, with traditional and seasonal Scottish ingredients, uplighting with a colour change for the evening as well as linens for the day.

Hopetoun House

Hopetoun House and Estate is located on the outskirts of Edinburgh and the splendour and magnificence of the venue is partnered the cosy setting and opulent features within.

A winter wedding at the venue includes packages which start from £85 per person and include a wedding designer to help you build your perfect day, a dedicated team of chefs cooking a three course set menu that can include a range of soups, guinea fowl (perfect for middle of the game season) and desserts such as an indulgent toffee pudding cake, wine with dinner and toasting.

There are also plenty of additional elements on offer including canapes, additional wine packages jugs of mocktails for those that aren’t drinking!

Mansfield Traquair

Run by a team of ambitious, passionate, local, food obsessed at Heritage Portfolio, winter weddings at Mansfield Traquair is always a fantastic event. The award-winning chefs work closely with producers to provide seasonal menus for all weddings – which means winter weddings come with a tinge of home comforts with creativity, imagination and class.

Further, the wedding design team will work with you to ensure you can make the most of Mansfield Traquair’s beautiful original tiled floor, archways, murals and soaring high ceilings and create magical elegance that is picture perfect for your winter wedding ceremony.

Packages start from £105 per person for minimum of 100 guests – and there are bespoke package available for weddings with fewer guests as well.

Knebworth House and Barns

Nothing says winter weddings like a fairytale location, cosy barns and magical gardens – and Knebworth House and Barns offer all of these.

The venue is offering last minute winter wedding packages for just £79.50 per person, with the civil ceremony venue hire at just £500. Within this package is a fantastic range of seasonal food, including blue cheese and red onion tart, blackened pork with black pudding and orange crème brulee.
