World Vegan Day

Prestige Venues and Events

“A plant-based diet was at the forefront of all food trends for 2020, and with the focus on sustainability reaching it’s peak, we are at a critical turning point with regards to our eating habits.

The pandemic has heightened peoples’ awareness of their own health and clients are actively looking for healthier alternatives to add into their menu design..

Plant-based, superfood and low sugar options are all becoming more and more popular, and with that in mind our wonderful team of chefs have been working hard to create more and more vegan and planet friendly menus. Check out this latest creation recently served at Dundas Castle in Edinburgh.

Menu

Vegan tapas of potato and sun blushed tomato salad, ‘shittake bacon’, sesame coated tofu and vegan cheese and pesto pinwheel with dressed cress and chive vinaigrette
~
Butternut squash tian, pumpkin seeds, shaved fennel and lemon with sage snaps, whipped tofu and salt baked rainbow carrots
~
Chocolate and coconut ganache with strawberry sorbet, strawberry coulis and balsamic caviar garnish
