Special Occasions
Discover a brand new view of the big smoke. Bateaux London’s most famous boat, The Harmony, has a stunning roof garden available for private hire. Enjoy London’s iconic and ever-changing skyline from the tranquillity of your own private garden on the Thames. Or, in Edinburgh, check out the Royal Botanic Gardens’ very own The Gateway Restaurant, which is available for a variety of special occasions. There you’ll find an outdoor terrace complete with everything you need for a quintessentially perfect summer event, including a BBQ area, a stone pizza oven and amazing views over the gardens.
Secret Spaces
You’ll want to keep our most coveted city spots to yourself. You didn’t hear it from us, but ask for The Shenkman Bar, the art-adorned cocktail bar hidden in The Royal Academy of Arts, London. The bar opens out on to the Keeper’s Garden, an oasis of calm in the centre of London. It’s strictly walk-ins only, and if you’re lucky you can even take a turn around the garden with a bespoke cocktail in hand. Mum’s the word.
Weddings
Dreaming of an outdoor wedding? Look no further than the expansive grounds of Hamilton Park Racecourse, South Lanarkshire. The racecourse welcomes weddings on their expansive and lush green turf. Knebworth House & Barns nestled in the heart of the Hertfordshire countryside offers reception drinks and wedding photos within their opulent, 16th century gardens. Or, tie the knot surrounded by the natural beauty of The Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh, which has areas perfect for weddings and receptions. We always keep our fingers crossed for fine weather… but our venues plan for every eventuality, so if the weather isn’t on your side, we’ve got you covered. Rain or shine, you’ll have the perfect day.

Our famous racecourses have tested the best of the best for hundreds of years, and their surrounding grounds are perfect for outdoor activities and competitions. Bring your A-game to Ascot Racecourse, Berkshire, with fields perfect for teambuilding days. In Scotland, the grounds at Perth Racecourse are ideal for corporate away days. If you’re planning a conference, consider The Athenaeum, Bury-St-Edmunds. This summer, they’re offering a day delegate package including a picnic in their beautiful Abbey Gardens. The gardens are available to hire for post-event receptions too, which is a lovely space to relax and unwind after a productive day.
