On Wednesday 5th February Headingley Stadium hostediSportconnect’s a masterclass for sporting hospitality providers to show how hospitality at sporting events can be tiered effectively to give the best customer experience from entry level all the way through to the top end.

A selection of delicious fruit smoothies, warm pastries and barista coffee were served in the Suite on the second floor with views over the cricket pitch, before the start of the masterclass.

The all new state of the art AV equipment in the suite was utilised including a 75 inch screen as well as drop down plasma screens. The main Suite was set in a cabaret style with the presentation screen and panel speakers along the length of the room to ensure delegates were all close to the action on stage and all felt part of the event throughout.

Networking breaks were held back in Director’s Suite and an interactive lunch showcasing examples of the different types of food service proposed for each tier was served in three zones. The food incorporated key trends in the hospitality industry and how to tackle the themes discussed in the masterclass through food.

To accompany the lunch London Essence created a ‘London Essence Dy Bar’ with all the theatre of a cocktail bar and beautifully presented drinks but without the alcohol – great for a daytime conference with some really interesting options that showed how soft drinks can elevate an experience at a premium venue.
