In January we had the privilege of sponsoring and hosting the Restaurant Marketer & Innovator (RMI) Rising Star Awards at the stunning Fulham Pier, an evening dedicated to recognising the eighth cohort of remarkable young professionals shaping the future of hospitality marketing, innovation, and strategy.
An Evening with Purpose
Hosted as part of the broader Restaurant Marketer & Innovator programme, the Rising Star Awards shine a spotlight on emerging leaders under 30 who are already making their mark across the hospitality landscape. Fulham Pier provided the perfect backdrop modern, elegant, vibrant and reflective of the innovation and energy these future leaders embody.

✨ Culinary Highlights from the Evening
As with every Prestige venue and events event, the hospitality offering played a starring role. Guests were treated to a beautifully curated menu that showcased seasonality, creativity and craftsmanship across both canapés and bowl food.
Served against the backdrop of the Thames, these elegant bites set the tone for the evening:
- Cured Chalk Stream Trout with burnt apple purée and crème fraîche
- Aynhoe Park Venison Tartare with pickled beetroot and charcoal emulsion
- Shallot Tatin topped with whipped White Lakes goat’s curd and olive crumb
Each canapé was designed to deliver a perfect balance of flavour in a single bite — refined, modern and reflective of the quality Fulham Pier has become known for.

Bowl Food – Waters Edge
As conversations flowed and guests celebrated this year’s honourees, a trio of elevated bowl dishes offered warmth and depth while allowing attendees to continue networking with ease:
Roast Fillet of Salt Marsh Lamb Served with herb crumble, Jerusalem artichoke and a crisp potato dauphine
Twice-Baked Quicke’s Mature Cheddar Soufflé Paired with a silky spinach velouté and heritage winter tomato
Gin‑Cured Scottish Salmon Accompanied by salt‑baked baby beetroot, smoked beetroot purée, pickled radish and spiced granola
To finish, guests enjoyed a delicate crème brûlée custard with poached apricots, honeycomb and a rosemary tuille — a perfect closing note to an evening of celebration.

Recognising the Rising Stars
Throughout the evening, attendees enjoyed networking, conversation and celebration alongside an impressive group of honourees — an exceptional class noted by James Hacon, co‑founder of RMI, in his public post shared internally. With the Rising Star Awards marking the beginning of what will be a defining chapter for these young professionals, we look forward to seeing their journeys unfold. Their creativity, drive and ambition will undoubtedly leave a lasting imprint on the industry.
