The Athenaeum, Bury St Edmunds
The Grade I listed Athenaeum was originally purpose-built for the local community to come together and relax - play cards, read books, and socialise. Having hosted centuries of local celebrations, The Athenaeum is a superlative choice for award ceremonies, particularly in the magnificent Georgian chandeliered ballroom. After the ceremony, toast your success with one of the catering team’s excellent drinks receptions. If you choose to hire the whole building for the evening, The Athenaeum can comfortably hold up to 400 of your guests for a special event followed by a Christmas party.
IWM, London
The Imperial War Museum London is famous for commemorating lives affected by war. In addition to their permanent exhibitions and archives, IWM London hosts an impressive programme of limited and permanent exhibitions, film screenings, and remembrance events. The building is an iconic hub of reflection and a place to be awestruck, making it a particularly remarkable venue for an awards ceremony. With a range of spaces for hire, including the magnificent atrium which can seat an impressive 320, IWM is bound to make an impression on your guests.
American Express Community Stadium, Brighton
On the pitch, the American Express Community Stadium in Brighton hosts a range of sports - including some matches for the Rugby World Cup in 2015. Off the pitch, the stadium is one of the south coast’s premier event venues. The rooms available for hire are airy and modern, with huge flexibility for set-up and decoration.
The Apex, Bury St Edmunds
Boasting a state of the art auditorium, The Apex is perfect for events that involve an element of presentation (or performance!). Famous for music events, The Apex welcomes an audience. One of the world’s most sustainable buildings, The Crystal showcases the latest technologies to generate its own energy. Complete with a beautiful bright red auditorium housed in a circular structure at the centre of the building, The Crystal is a truly inspiring venue to host your awards ceremony this year.
Emerald Headingley Stadium, Leeds
A site steeped in sporting legend, Emerald Headingley Stadium is the perfect place to cheer on your team. With space for up to 1,000 guests, it’s ideal for large-scale awards ceremony for attendees looking to be inspired. Guests can even stay overnight at the on-site hotel!
The Royal Botanical Garden, Edinburgh
Nestled in 70 acres of horticultural excellence, you’ll find the Royal Botanical Garden Edinburgh. The garden is home to 100,000 plants, including over 3,000 exotic plants from around the world. The venue has four unique spaces available all year round - indoors and outdoors - and the gardens are an elegant choice for an awards ceremony. We suggest you announce your winners in the opulent Caledonian Hall, with the purpose-built permanent marquee just next door.
