Here at PV&E, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. As part of our commitment to sourcing fresh, sustainable produce and to mitigate food waste, we are delighted to have teamed up with Full Circle Farms earlier this year to deliver the much-awaited Jardin Blanc hospitality experience at The RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
We welcomed over 4,500+ guests from all across the globe to discover the perfect atmosphere for dining, unwinding, and celebrating the joys of spring and summer. From plot straight to the kitchen, Full Circle Farms supplied it’s organically grown produce to the official hospitality partner of RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Jardin Blanc. Our award-winning team of chefs used this fresh produce to create an exceptional culinary experience for our guests. Curated by Jardin Blanc’s culinary director Raymond Blanc, the menus focused on seasonality, when ingredients are at their freshest, most nutrient-dense and flavoursome. The team installed a vegetable garden at the restaurant for the duration of the show, so diners can see how the food they’re eating is grown.
Founded and led by Farmer & CEO Tom Morphew, Full Circle Farms is a truly regenerative social value farm in the heart of the Sussex Downs. Tom and the team are passionate about regenerative farming which focuses on holistic farming that doesn’t use chemicals or pesticides, in turn improving soil health and combating climate change; his “full circle” farming model gives his produce its amazing taste.
Leftover ingredients from this year’s Jardin Blanc will be supplied to the farm to create compost and fertiliser, this compost will be used to grow next year’s crop of fruit and vegetables, which our team will visit throughout the year to deepen their understanding of sustainable farming. We support the brilliant work that Tom and his team are doing, in particular The Garden Army, an organisation set up by Tom which offers green and horticultural therapy for those with wellbeing needs.
The new partnership with Jardin Blanc will kickstart long-term collaboration opportunities between Full Circle Farms and Sodexo, which manages key venues and cultural moments including Bateaux London river cruises and Edinburgh’s Royal Botanical Gardens.
Tom Morphew, CEO of Full Circle Farms, said:
“I’m passionate about the overwhelming benefits of regenerative farming and educating people about where their favourite ingredients come from. We believe our ‘full circle’ farming model gives our produce its amazing taste. We’re thrilled to be partnering with Jardin Blanc to provide ingredients to this year’s menu.”
Ben Dutson, Food Innovation Director at Sodexo, said:
“When we first met with Tom and the team at Full Circle Farms, we knew that we wanted to support the brilliant work they’re doing. Both our organisations are passionate about fresh ingredients, sustainability and educating the next generation of hospitality workers, so it was the ideal opportunity to collaborate. The work we’re doing at Jardin Blanc represents the start of a long-term partnership with Full Circle Farms. As part of our commitment to providing world-class training for our team and the best possible experience for our guests, we want to lead by example and embed sustainability, food provenance and education into everything we do, and our new partnership with the farm will help us do just that.”
